From our first phone call with Abby, we could tell this was going to be a great match! Abby oozed kindness and grace while telling us all about her upcoming wedding at The Georgia Club. She knew immediately that her winter wedding would be an eclectic mix of elegant, vibrant, and celebration! Challenge accepted!
The Favorite Flower
Abby has a passion for yellow ranunculus and asked if it could have its make its debut only in her bouquet and in the reception centerpieces. Her lovely bridesmaids wore shades of pale green, blue, lavender and rose. With the mixture of color in the dresses, Abby decided to have them carry neutral bouquets of white and cream blooms with mixed greenery finished with flowing ribbons. Her bouquet, however, would be a mixture of the dress colors accented with, you guessed it, the yellow ranunculus. The result was a brilliant blend of neutrals and colors for a chilly day in January 2024.
Fun Additions
Abby added a few surprises to her day. For one, she wanted her ceremony space to be neutral to make way for her showstopper bouquet and colorful bridesmaid dresses. Bloom and Ivy created a sleek backdrop of sheer curtains with a disconnect arched arbor. Drawing on cues from winter, the arbor had a mixture of winter greens and neutral blooms to frame the couple during their vows.
The second fun surprise was at the disco atmosphere that took over the ballroom at the Georgia Club for the reception! Whimsical and colorful centerpieces took centerstage on the guest tables, but the show stopper was the disco balls hanging from the grand chandeliers! What a fantastic way to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Harper!Â
We truly enjoyed working with Abby, her mom Kim, and her mother-in-law Ashley who hosted a gorgeous rehearsal dinner at which Bloom and Ivy provided centerpieces and candles! We wish the Harpers a lifetime of blessings and are forever grateful for letting us have a tiny part in their amazing day!Â
